This lace collar was a gift from my grandmother. It’s beautifully crocheted lace; the sort of thing that can no longer be found in stores, making it even more precious. It has a feel of elegance to it. With it, I wore a cardigan that I put on backwards. It’s not exactly a new trick, but it gives a sweater two different looks. The juxtaposition of the lace and the denim, with the knit sweater underneath, felt just right for today.
The book I’m holding is Mansfield Park (by Jane Austen). I’m currently reading it, and the cover inspired the color scheme for today’s outfit.
